Welcome to our Theatre School

Marcia Jones school of Dance has been established in Beeston and the outlying areas for over thirty years, providing excellent dance tuition in many disciplines – Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Disco, Street, Hip Hop, Singing and Drama.

From aspiring teenagers training to enter performance colleges to tots baby ballet or whether dance is an activity where children make new friends in a fun, safe, and friendly environment, it’s all available at Marcia’s.

The dance school is continuing to achieve excellent I.S.T.D grades for the pupils exam work with 100% pass rate and is continuing to go from strength to strength as a centre of excellence in Performing Arts.

December 2018 showcase was a great success enjoyed by all and to top it off we raised £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support thank you for your kind donations.

The Schools 2017 dance extravaganza show held at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham was a great success.

Lily - Mae Evans leaves us for six months from July 2017 to appear as the leading role as Matilda the West End Musical congratulations and have fun.

The Theatre Royal Panto “Beauty and the Beast" saw Marcia’s pupils providing the “ah” factor in 2017/18.
All girls were excellent ambassadors for the school.

Well done Lily-Mae Evans who appeared in the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Nottingham Theatre Royal - May 2016 alongside Lee Mead and Michelle Collins.

Previous productions at the Theatre Royal include “Annie”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Joseph" and numerous Pantomime appearances.

Well done to our students Toni Doherty, Ellie Finnerty and Tyler Boston who are performed  in Aladdin at The Nottingham Playhouse 2016/17.

November Showcase 2016 weekend -  pupils performed their dance and exam routines that they work on during their lessons and exam coaching sessions. We all had an absolutely great night pupils, teachers and of course the audience. The feedback was lovely so here’s to our next one.
